I am a London based saxophonist with over 30 years of gigging experience. I specialise in blues, rock and soul music, play in brass sections and, more usually these days, as single saxophone in a soul or rock band – carrying the whole brassy vibe. I continue to have weekly residencies at the Blues Kitchen after sixteen years of my involvement.

I have a few original projects, Matt Pearce & The Mutiny being the most high profile. I will do studio recordings if I like your music, or you pay me enough to get over my misgivings. Likewise, I play weddings when blackmailed or bribed and have multiple solo sets with backing tracks to suit any occasion. Despite outward appearances, I have some excellent suits.

Weddings, private functions and corporate events are best handled by my extraordinary band, “The Reputations” which features the very best musicians on the London scene – and me – and can play vast array of different musical styles.
